GLOBAL AQUAPONICS NETWORK FOR RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT LIMITED (ACN 125 365 308) is a NOT FOR PROFIT limited by guarantee public company that was constituted in Australia on the 11th of May 2007. Our major purpose is to provide a representative body, encourage research and facilitate professionalism for the Aquaponics industry globally.
Objectives
- To be the primary global knowledge repository and resources for Aquaponics.
- To actively assist in the teaching of Aquaponics at all levels of education.
- To actively promote, assist and advance research into Aquaponics globally.
- To develop general and "best practice" guidelines in Aquaponics.
- To make our knowledge base available to our members and the general public.
- To develop a membership of people from around the world who have an interest in Aquaponics.
- To provide knowledge and guidelines that will assist existing commercial entities to embrace and expand into Aquaponics.
- To provide seminars and conferences that will promote Aquaponics.
- To provide communications mechanisms for our members to discuss Aquaponics.
- To always consider all sizes of Aquaponic systems to be relevant.
- To always strive to make our knowledge base relevant to developing and developed communities globally.
- To actively promote Aquaponics to Governments and Industry globally.
- To fund Advisory Committees that will assist the corporation in meeting its objectives.
